PARENTS/SIBLINGS: Patsy Arletta Rateliff was born on April 24, 1945, in Manderville, Miller County, Arkansas [1-5]. She was the only child born to Harris Almon Rateliff (March 8, 1925-February 9, 1997) and Winnie Marie Jones (August 19, 1928-December 2, 1971) [6-7]. However, since her parents divorced on April 25, 1947, in Miller County, Arkansas, Patsy gained two half-brothers and two half-sisters when her father married Opal Faye Jarvis (April 28, 1933-September 23, 2004) on November 25, 1950, in Cale, Nevada County, Arkansas [8-10]. Those brothers and sisters were Tommy Roy (September 24, 1951-March 10, 2009), Johnny Wade (July 6, 1954-February 3, 1980), Kathy Diane (November 4, 1956), and Lisa Carroll Rateliff (February 13, 1960-May 23, 2010) [11-19].
Patsy's mother, Winnie Marie, remarried on June 5, 1947, to Calvin Raymond Witterstaetter (September 14, 1924-January 5, 1993) in Miller County, Arkansas [20-25]. The marriage of Winnie Marie and Calvin Raymond produced a daughter, giving Patsy another half-sister, Carol Anne Witterstaetter, born on February 20, 1948 [26].
In approximately 1952, Patsy's mother remarried again. Through Winnie Marie's marriage to James Harold Adcock (June 7, 1927-October 10, 2014), Patsy gained four more half-siblings [27-35]. They included Elecia Susan "Lisa" (February 3, 1953), Angela Rose (February 15, 1957-February 15, 1957), Jeffery Leonard (January 18, 1958-June 25, 1983), and Tab Anthony Adcock (June 8, 1959) [27-35].
MARRIAGE: On June 3, 1962, Patsy married Noble James "Jim" Hauck III in Caddo Parrish, Louisiana [36-38]. Born May 30, 1944, in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, Noble was the son of Noble James Hauck Jr. and Lorene Dorthea James [36-46]. Unfortunately, that marriage did not survive and ended in April 1969 after nearly seven years [47].
CHILDREN: The marriage of Patsy Arletta and Noble James produced two children. They were Noble James "Nobie" (May 15, 1963-July 25, 2017) and Angela Renee Hauck (June 6, 1966) [48-52].
MARRIAGE: In June 1971, Patsy married Larry Russell Heard in Caddo Parrish, Louisiana [53]. Born on January 20, 1940, in Shreveport, Caddo Parrish, Louisiana, Larry was the son of Jewell Russell Heard and Annie May Knapp [60-68]. Larry's death occurred on June 10, 2011, in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas [67-68]. Their marriage ended in divorce!
MARRIAGE: Between 1972 and 1982, Patsy met, married, and divorced for the third time, Henry Augusta Pifer [46]. Born March 17, 1952, in Miller County, Arkansas, Henry was the son of William Herman Pifer and Mary Bell Garrett [69-73]. Henry died on November 28, 2014, in Folk, Miller County, Arkansas.
MARRIAGE: On December 17, 1982, in Bowie County, Texas, Patsy married David Alan Stephenson [74-79]. Born on October 22, 1955, in Miller County, Arkansas, David was the son of Richard Tedford Stephenson and Vater Pearl Jordan (speculation based on source) [80]. However, Patsy Arletta and David Alan divorced on April 10, 1987, in Bowie County, Texas [81-82]
DEATH: On her forty-second birthday, April 24, 1987, Patsy quietly slipped from this world and into another from heart disease in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas [1-4]. Her remains are in Sylverino Cemetery in Fouke, Miller County, Arkansas [1].

This blog was created for my granddaughters, Natalie Elizabeth and Emmalyn Rose Herron, to share the experiences of me and Mitch, along with our viewpoints on politics, religion, and the history we are creating. I respectfully understand that you may not always agree with our perspectives. We want to teach the two of them our history, their family history, and American history, so they, too, will learn to question with boldness! Should you disagree with our viewpoints, please keep your negative commentary in your mind. This blog may not be for you.
